Maintenance Check Flight pilot courses

 

The Commander of a Level A Maintenance Check Flight is now required to have undergone a training course in the principles and practice of safely conducting such flights.

 

A Level A MCF is one where any backup or safety device is to be operated, or any abnormal or emergency procedure deliberately conducted.

 

LAS can provide the training for your pilots, along with assistance in producing the required manual.

 

The training is a one day course consisting of three hours ground training and a two hour flight. This may be in a simulator.
