Maintenance Check Flights

 

The Commander of a Level A Maintenance Check Flight is required to have undergone a training course in the principles and practice of safely conducting such flights. It is recommended that even before it is mandatory such training is given.

 

A Level A MCF is one where any backup or safety device is to be operated, or any abnormal or emergency procedure deliberately conducted.

 

If you have a requirement for a pilot to conduct an MCF but do not have any suitably qualified pilots on staff, LAS can provide an experienced and suitably qualified pilot for many corporate jet types.
